On the 14 March 1996 after the school mass shooting at Dunblane this tune "Lammermoor' came to Gordon. Lammermoor is the hills and high ground north of Lauder where we lived at the time. Legend has it that Saint Cuthbert as a boy shepherd saw the angels taking Saint Aiden up to heaven on Lammermoor. Later Saint Cuthberts followers built a church nearby and called it Child's Kirk...over time this became Channelkirk. After this shooting of 16 small children and their teacher handguns were banned in the UK. We end the set with 'The Cheviot Rant' by Billy Miller and the 'Sciatic Rant" by Gordon
